CFB Announces Mill Quarter Branch Opening!
In another effort to increase our accessibility, we have opened a branch on Staats St between Arizona Ave and Colorado Ave.
Prineville, OR - Prineville Bancorporation (NASDAQ OTTB: PNVL.OB), parent company for Community First Bank, announced the official opening of a drive-up banking branch at the new Colorado Avenue location in the Mill Quarter area of Bend. This new branch, located on Staats Ave between Arizona and Colorado Avenues opened Wednesday December 5, 2007. A full service branch is in construction next to the drive up branch and will be open in the spring of 2008.
The unique aspect of this location is that both buildings are built to the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold standard. Only one other building in Central Oregon currently has the LEED Gold certification. "As we've expanded our branches and services, we've emphasized sustainable building practices. We believe as a corporate citizen, we have a responsibility to contribute to sustainable development. Sustainable development positively impacts our customers, employees and our community. A LEED Accredited Professional has assisted in the design and construction of this branch and we are applying for LEED Gold certification," stated Robin Freeman, CEO of Community First Bank. Some examples of green building practices used on the Community First Mill Quarter buildings include the recycling of 75% of all construction waste, the use of FSC certified wood, and the installation of solar PV panels.
Freeman added that "this location is a part of our announced effort to increase our branch presence in the Bend market to offer our customers additional accessibility. The Mill Quarter location will be our third branch in Bend and our eighth branch in Central Oregon. To increase customer convenience, this branch will also offer extended weekday hours, with our drive up open from 7:00 am until 6:30 pm".
"We will continue to offer our Partnership Banking services in this branch," said Freeman. "We believe our customers will benefit from the accessibility, trust, flexibility, and cooperation our partnership bankers provide on both business and personal financial issues."
Community First is the only bank in the region that re-invests 100% of its local deposits back into Central Oregon. We are deeply involved in the communities in which we serve and are committed to provide a superior level of service to local individuals and businesses.
