Community First Bank Partners with Crook County Foundation

Prineville, OR – Community First Bank presented a check in the amount of $3,000 to the Crook County Foundation at their Board meeting on March 20, 2008.

Kristi Steber, Executive Director of the foundation stated that "The Foundation is very pleased and appreciative to have Community First Bank join us as a partner.  The bank's support will help significantly in our mission to build a strong and vibrant community here in Crook County".

The Crook County Foundation, formed in 1998, is at the center of many community-enriching activities such as Picnic in the Park, the Ochoco Nights series and Leadership Crook County.  The Crook County Foundation also continues to make a difference to graduates in Crook County through the scholarship program, which is providing scholarships to fourteen current graduates as well as continuing to support two previous scholarship winners.  The Foundation has awarded scholarships in the amount of $10,596 for the 2007-2008 school year.

Robin Freeman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Community First Bank added, “We share a common belief in the value of the community with the Foundation and are fully supportive of the work that the Crook County Foundation has done to enhance the Prineville community.  We are pleased to be able to help them continue to create resources, activities, and events for the residents of Crook County.”
