At Community First Bank (CFB) we are committed to protecting the privacy of our customer's information.  We know that your financial information is personal.  Our goals are to serve you, as effectively and conveniently as possible and to ensure that information you share with us remains confidential.  As part of our commitment, we have adopted the following privacy principles and have implemented them at all levels of our organization.

Collection of Customer Information

We collect non-public personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from applications or other forms;
• Information about transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

Protection of Information via Established Security Procedures

CFB is committed to the security of your financial and personal information.  All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment, which protects your account information from being accessed by third parties.  We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to protect non-public personal information.

At Community First Bank, employee access to personally identifiable customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information. Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and on these privacy principles. Because of the importance of these issues, all Community First Bank employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and employees who violate these privacy policies will be subject to disciplinary measures

Accuracy of Information

We continuously strive to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your accounts.  Should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us.  We will investigate your concerns and correct any inaccuracies.

Disclosure of Account Information is Restricted

Community First Bank does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. It is our policy not to reveal specific information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, unless it is to assist us to:

• Process and/or complete transactions you have requested;
• maintain or service your account; or
• comply with laws or regulations.

We do not provide account or personal information to non-CFB affiliated companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies. 

Maintaining Your Privacy When We Do Business outside of Our Organization

It is sometimes necessary to provide personally identifiable information about you to a party outside our organization.  An example would be if we hired a vendor or service company to provide support for one or more of our products or services.  When CFB conducts business with third parties, it requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them.
